SIKA PHILIPPINES CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF BUILDING TRUST
A CELEBRATION OF TRUST. Sika Philippines honors valued clientele who have built a long-lasting partnership with the company. In the Philippines, Sika has made its presence felt since 1994, establishing itself as a trusted partner among a host of impressive clients in the country.
In the spirit of building this trust, notable individuals from the construction and transportation industry were gathered for one evening to commemorate Sika Philippines’ 20th year anniversary. The eventwas an opportunity for Sika to express their heartfelt gratitude for two decades of successful collaboration with its business partners in the country and reinforce the company’s commitment in providing trusted, quality products and technical services for Concrete, Refurbishment, Sealing & Bonding, Waterproofing, Roofing, Flooring and Automotive Production & Repair. It was no coincidence that they staged this event at Solaire Resort & Casino, an iconic project for Sika Philippines since the company supplied 40,000 sqm worth of roofing solutions for Solaire’s phases 1 and 1A .
During the event, “Building Trust Awards”were bestowed to Almazora Motors Corporation, Pilipinas Hino, Inc., and Santa Rosa Motor Works, Inc., who have been loyal customers of Sika Philippines since it started 20 years ago.
Words of encouragement were shared by the Deputy Head of Mission of the Swiss Embassy to the Philippines, Mr. Raoul Imbach, whocommented that the construction industryremain to be on the upswing in the country. The Swiss official likewise noted how Sika Philippines continues to be a remarkable example of Swiss values, including honesty, long-lasting relationships, and quality above all.
Ms. Yumi Kan, Sika Southeast Asia Area Manager, echoed the optimistic outlookand reiterated the region’s support for their local counterpart. “With over 18,000 employees worldwide, we support Sika Philippines and its continued growth in this key emerging market,” she enthused. “There’s a huge potential for infrastructure construction and we have great plans for the Philippines.”
In response, Sika Philippines General Manager Mr. Jason Baradas shared the accolades for the company’s success with all their industry partners who have stood by them through the years. “We always do our best to deliver. Through innovation, quality, and the people of Sika Philippines, this trust is well-placed,” Baradas stated. “We definitely have come a long way since 1994 — let this be our fuel to move further on 20 years and beyond.”■
