FWD Philippines named as one of Asia’s Best Employer Brands for 2016
FWD Life Philippines added another distinction to its growing list of achievements and recognitions, after recently bagging the honor as one of Asia’s Best Employer Brands.
The 7th Edition of the Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards ceremony, held in Singapore, was hosted by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress, and Stars of the Industry Group, and endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses.
“We’re happy and honored to be recognized by such an esteemed organization,” said FWD Philippines President and CEO Peter Grimes. “It’s humbling to know that we’re recognized as one of Asia’s best employer brands that provides empowering opportunities to talented and committed individuals in our industry.”
Rozanne Parungo, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of FWD Philippines, received the award on behalf of the Company during the awarding ceremony held at The Pan Pacific Singapore on August 4. Parungo also served as a panelist alongside top-ranking executives from various industries across the region, where they shared ideas and best practices on employer branding.

The award further recognizes FWD’s position as the fastest-growing life insurance company in the Philippines, as well as the two honors it won recently in this year’s Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) Insurance Asia Awards also held in Singapore in July. Two of the company’s innovative marketing campaigns, “Life Is” and “Live to Move,” were named “Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year” and “Marketing Initiative of the Year”, respectively.
