Filinvest City Raises Bar for Metro Development
Filinvest Alabang Inc., one of the country’s pioneering property developers, unveils THE FILINVEST TENT, the first and only tent events place in the South of Manila which boasts of 2,000 square meters of unobstructed hall space.
Located in Alabang, THE FILINVEST TENT is nestled amidst the lush greens of Filinvest City , a 244-hectare fully-integrated, self-contained, master planned urban center.
“We are raising the bar for developments in the Metro. With its size and world-class features and amenities, the Filinvest Tent is the event locale this side of the metropolis. With progress moving southward, Filinvest City makes sure it leads where the action is,” says Danilo Antonio, Managing Director of Filinvest’s Commercial Centers Group.
The Filinvest Tent’s sheer size dwarfs most of Southern Manila’s current event venues that can only accommodate a maximum of 1,000 guests. The Filinvest Tent prides itself with flexible accommodations that include a huge activity area that can be divided into two 1,000 sqm-space each; with a 400 sq.m prefunction and registration area, well-appointed VIP lounge, a drop-off lobby with a canopied driveway and ample parking space.
Among event tent venues, The Filinvest Tent 2,000-sq.m. space is the biggest, followed closely by Le Pavilion with 1,850 sqms, the NBC Tent at 1,440 sq.m. , and Rockwell Tent, 751 sqms. The Filinvest Tent is also the third biggest among exhibition tents, next to the PICC Forum which has 4,292 sqms, and the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay which has 3,000 sqms.
Well-appointed events caterers, hotels and service providers have been carefully selected to provide clients with a slew of menu for any occasion or event – product launches, dinner parties, commencement exercises, weddings, car shows, fairs and bazaars. The outdoor gardens next to the tent is also an ideal venue for alfresco cocktail events with an enchanting view of Filinvest City’s skyline.
Accessible via major thoroughfares in the South, its major entry and exit points are an easy 15-minute drive away from Makati through the Sky “Filinvest City is setting a benchmark in urban center development with a slew of commercial, residential and lifestyle choices within walking distance or a few minutes drive away,” adds Mr. Antonio.

Filinvest City is home to Northgate Cyberzone which houses major business process outsourcing firms such as HSBC, Convergys, Genpact, eTelecare, APAC, Verizon to a name a few.
More than just real estate, Filinvest City has changed Southern living with world class developments. Part of recent upgrades includes the launch of The Grills at South Station, a grillery and bar strip; and expansion of Festival Supermall, its flagship project.
This month, Filinvest City is set to open Crimson Hotel which boasts of 345 rooms, six meeting rooms, a 564- square meter grand ballroom, five food and beverage outlets and concierge, a swimming pool, gym, spa and business center.
The five-star hotel is part of the four-tower Entrata Urban Complex beside the mall. “The Entrata Shopping Center, at the ground and second floors of Entrata’s first tower, would open by the first quarter of 2013. It will have more than 50 retail outlets, specialty shops, services, wellness centers, international restaurants and a 4,000- square meter entertainment facility,” said Antonio.
