Book Review: One Person/Multiple Careers

easy-money-bookshelf-one-person-multiple-careersOne Person/Multiple Careers: A New Model for Work/Life Success
By Marci Alboher

Anyone who has juggled two or more careers at the same time can relate much with this book. For those contemplating on taking on a sideline or side business, the numerous stories of so-called slash careerists should inspire you. The author does attempt to provide a practical how-to side but too many anecdotes somehow fail to bring a more structured approach to learning. She does tackle a lot of real issues, and certainly you can pick up a good number of tips. But take this book more as your muse – to make you feel good that there are a lot like you out there (if you already have a slash career) or to make you dream of the possibilities (if you’re just thinking of taking this alternative career approach).
