AMORITA RESORTS CELEBRATES 8 YEARS OF INFINITE EXPERIENCES
It’s a whole new world out here. In a chic and pinkish celebration that’s as joyous and majestic as the natural attractions of Bohol, the Philippine boutique hotel group One-Of Collection celebrates the launch of the second phase of Amorita Resort last March 28, 2015. With its Flamingo party theme, guests and visitors had come either wearing something pink or a touch of pink.
“We are very happy with the outcome of our little darling,” says CEO and Owner Attorney Nikki Cauton who, together with his wife Ria, also handled firsthand the execution and the management of the launch.
The event started with a Welcome Message by the owners which was followed by the angelic and endearing voices of the Loboc Children’s Choir who sang an accompaniment of melodious and heavenly music. To cap off the night, poi dancers went on stage and lighted the whole evening with their fire-shattering performances. It was indeed a one-of-a-kind festivity and merriment etched in the hearts of its visitors and their guests for eternity.
The New Amorita
The additions of 61 new suites, a new saffron restaurant, a second outdoor infinity pool, the gym and facilities for kids, among others are what make this resort more than just a place to breathe, relax and rejuvenate. Approximately a total of 21,500 square meters, this new division also offers deluxe garden rooms, gym, fitness facilities and a new cluster of one or two bedrooms and the new look of the Saffron Restaurant which also offers its guests with a wide choice of Boholano dishes.
Amorita Resort, a luxury boutique resort located on top of a limestone cliff, embodies the natural treasures of the Visayan Region – limestone, shimmering blue and jaded waters, stretches of white sand, and lush tracts of greenery. The resort has also further distinguished itself by marrying world-class service with personalized touches and pleasant little surprises. “We call guests by their first names and we believe in hand-written notes, home-baked cookies, things that take time and create a lasting impression,” says Ria. “Care for our guests – committed to giving them a memorable experience – is the foundation of our growth.”
Since its inception in 2007, Amorita has earned return visits and nods of approval from guests and even five-star reviews. Features of the whole 6-acre property include 14 private villas (each with its own plunge pool), dreamy garden landscapes, an in-house dive centre which is operated by award-winning PADI-certified Sea Explorers Philippines and an infinity pool overlooking the famed Alona Beach which makes it a tropical enclave striking the perfect balance between exclusivity for guests and proximity to the beach. The resort’s architectural styling are best described as organic modern, integrating key aspects of Panglao Island’s beautiful natural surroundings and idyllic charm into the design of the property.
“Throughout the development phase we employed local building techniques and used organic, natural materials abundant in the area,” says Nikki. “We designed in ways that keep the Boholano character and spirit alive, and this enables us to keep a strong local identity and sense of place that Amorita guests will appreciate.”
Contribution to the Local Sector
After the natural disasters that devastated the Central Visayas Region last year, the local Boholanos have led recovery and revitalization efforts, ensuring that the province and its workers remain able to capture the imagination of travellers all over the world. One-Of Collection capitalizes on this unique opportunity while also acting as a key capitalist for growth of the local tourism sector in Bohol – through, among others, its expansion and development sure to benefit not only guests and locals but foreigners who’d want to marvel at Bohol and the rest of the country.
“Guests need not worry,” says Nikki. “We’ll retain the kind of intimacy and service that has made Amorita the leading luxury boutique resort in Bohol.”
